Australian Psychoanalytic Society



The Australian Psychoanalytical Society was established in 1973 and is a component Society of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) whih sets and monitors standards for training, professional practice and ethics of its members. Responsibility for training in Australia is held by three branches: Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Graduation from the training offers eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychoanalytical Society, the IPA and the European Psychoanalytic Federation.
