Music and Imagery Association of Australia



The Music and Imagery Assoiciation of Australia (MIAA) is the official body overseeing the training and registration of practitioners in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. There are two levels of training (i) The Certificate Course if Guided Imagery and Music - Introductory Level, a one-year part-time course run by MIAA, and (ii) The Graduate Diploma in Guided Imagery and Music, a two-year part-time course at the School of Music, University of Melbourne. Completion of both courses is mandatory before seeking registration as a Music and Imagery Therapist through MIAA.
