University of Sydney



The University of Sydney is Australia's oldest university. The psychotherapy program was originally developed by Professor Russell Meares and teaching is based on The Conversational Model (Meares and Hobson). An undergraduate degree and clinical experience in a health-related field are prerequisites. Completion of the program leads to a Master's degree and is recognized as fulfilling the requirements for full membership of ANZAP.

The teaching faculty of the Master's program are all memebers of ANZAP. Students are encouraged to attend monthly seminars run by ANZAP and to attend the annual ANZAP Conference in Sydney.
