 ADVANCED CLIENT-DIRECTED,
OUTCOME-INFORMED CLINICAL WORK CONSULTATION GROUP

In this advanced small group training limited to 35 participants, professionals who are experienced in working with the client-directed, outcome-informed approach (CDOI) can refine their use and understanding of the principles and practices while receiving specific help with their most challenging cases.
The workshop will be tailored to meet the needs of the participants with an emphasis on answering the questions that arise as professionals use the approach in their daily practice. Participants are required to join a internet-based discussion and complete assigned readings prior to attending the training. They must also bring examples of their clinical work, including data from their use of the ORS and SRS, to present and discuss.
This will be an active training and consultation in which the majority of time will be spent on refining the use and interpretation of formal feedback from consumers.
SCOTT D. MILLER PH.D. is a co-founder of the Institute for the Study
of Therapeutic Change, a private group of clinicians and researchers
dedicated to studying what works in mental health and substance abuse
treatment. He works as a therapist providing all clinical services pro bono
to traditionally under served clients.
Dr. Miller conducts workshops and training internationally and is known for his engaging and humorous presentation style.
